Generating new clients for the wealth management business and advising existing clients.


A sales executive should have thorough knowledge of the products and services of the bank and be able to demonstrate them to clients. He/she must be good at persuading others to change their minds or behavior. He/she must also be able to understand others' reactions and why they react as they do.

He/she must come across as actively looking for ways to help people and talk to others to convey information effectively.


An insurance sales executive's responsibilities include building a book of business, acquire new clients and cultivate prospective clients. He/she would have to analyze client needs and recommend mutual funds and other investment products best suited to client's investment needs cross-sell the company's  other investment products to clients.

He/she would have to meet revenue targets by acquiring internal/external database and calling clients to sell MF and other investment products and this may also include selling products through Bancassurance model in some cases.

He/she will have to monitor client's portfolio and advise them at various points of time. He/she might have to make investments, switches, redemption of mutual fund investment for clients and provide them full after sales support.
